Horn finishes fourth in IMCA Super Nationals at Boone

CJ Horn kicked off his Labor Day weekend early on Thursday with a trip to Cresco Speedway for the Blue Ribbon Classic, where the Malvern Bank West and East Series squared off.

Horn opened the busy stretch on a high note, scoring a ninth-place finish in the main event.

He then traveled north to Deer Creek Speedway in Minnesota, where he posted 15th- and 21st-place finishes on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

The Cedar Rapids, Iowa native wrapped up his extended weekend on Monday at the prestigious IMCA Super Nationals at Boone Speedway. In the 50-lap finale, Horn gained two positions to finish fourth, following Jesse Sobbing, Zach Zeitner, and Cody Thompson across the line, with Logan Veloz rounding out the top five.
